Love Mike and Irma's

When I came to Mike I was at the end of my rope...I had long hair that was multi colored from doing it myself and a I was determined to find a good hairstylist to take over and make me presentable again. Mike made my hair look so nice people said I looked 10 years younger! Mike is the best thing that could have happened to me and my hair....3 Years later - I will not go to anyone else!!! I love Mike and Irma's and enjoy every appointment!

Mike is absolutely the best, my search for the perfect stylist is over! He matched my color beautifully and my hair has not looked this good in years. His shop is clean and relaxing and Irma is quite the character. I would recommend Mike to everyone. If you are at all hesitant, call him and give him a try, you will not be disappointed.?

I have been going to Mike for a little over a year. When I originally started going to him my hair was in terrible shape from going from one hair stylist to another due to bad cuts, bad color etc. When I found Mike on the internet I thought I would try again, Needless to say, my first appointment Mike took the time to listen to my complaints and what I did and didn't like about my hair. After he cut and styled my hair I was EXTREMELY HAPPY!! He listened to everything I have had to say and my hair has never looked better. I would recommend Mike to anyone. He is extremely professional and makes sure I am happy before leaving his shop. Needless to say he has a customer for life. THANK YOU MIKE!?

18 Year Search for Hair Stylist

I moved to the Portland/Vancouver area 18 years ago and have been searching ever since for someone who could replicate my previous favorite haircut. Recently I found Mike! Although a couple of other stylists came close during that time, Mike surpassed them all. He is a great listener and isn’t afraid to try specific requests, plus he has the capability to follow through with the necessary skills and experience.Usually I will work with a stylist for about six months. If they don’t understand what I want by then, it’s definitely time to move on. Mike makes sure of your intentions through active listening and questioning for confirmation before starting the cut. If you have had trouble with others not really "getting" your haircut, make an appointment with Mike; he’s fabulous.

I had an extreme mess on my head. Long hair with numerous colors left from doing it myself and a good swath of grey on top. Despite the fact that I didn’t communicate the problem well when I made the appt., Mike was TRULY a miracle worker. In a couple of hours, he made me look and feel beautiful again.
